As an Agent-Key
user, you have 'central control' over rates and availability at
all properties entered into your Agent-Key database. You
contract rates, and preferably inventory, with the properties featured
on your website. You can choose to give any property an Agent-Key
link to update their own availability.
You have a choice
of two business models:
Wholesale Travel
Agent Model
You contract net rates, add your profit margin and feature selling
rates on your website. Guests prepay you in full for their reservation.
You issue a voucher to the guest, and a voucher to the property
booked. Properties invoice you at agreed contract rates after guest
has checked out.
Commission Based
Model
You contract commissionable rates, or invite properties to enter
their own commissionable rates into Agent-Key. Guests pay
you a 10% deposit at time of booking (e.g. your commission) and
pay the balance due directly to the property booked upon check out.
